Mallow is an interactive publication, most recently presented as an event at Filet in October 2024.

For this event I made wallpaper with a marsh mallow flower print, which covered a large part of the walls in the space. I arranged actual-size or enlarged drawings/ photos/ images/ maps/ notebook entries and poems/ essays/ lyrics, relating to my research into the colour mallow, on the walls and on the floor. I made three dresses, representing the three Fates coming out of the wallpaper and standing in the space.

During the event I edited the publication by adding new material, changing existing material – scanning, printing, highlighting/underlining, writing, as well as recording and playing back audio text with a loop station and amplifier.

The event provided a way to further engage with this fluid and evolving three-dimensional publication so that the audience could witness its evolution.
